Fundación TECNALIA Research & Innovation is the largest center of applied research and technological development in Spain, a benchmark in Europe and a member of the Basque Research and Technology Alliance, employing around 1,472 people (267 PhDs). TECNALIA, located in Spain, is the first private Spanish organisation in contracting, participation, and leadership in the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 programme and we are ranked third in European patent applications.

TECNALIA has the goal to transform technological research into prosperity, and our vision is to be agents of transformation of companies and society for their adaptation to the challenges of a changing future. Since 2008 TECNALIA supports different institutions in the design and development of programs to boost new businesses ideas and develop skills using a learning by doing approach focused on leadership, innovation and entrepreneurship.
